Margie Maureen Rogers Power

DOERUN, GA – Margie Maureen Rogers Power, 74, of Doerun, passed away November 25, 2022, at her home.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Mt. Sinai Cemetery with the Reverend Tim Henry officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Brian Goss, Scott Hortman, Bryant Halstead, Anthony Martin, Lance Williamson, and Michael Rogers.

Born September 28, 1948, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of Gloria Hatcher Rogers of Doerun, Georgia and the late Roy Lester Rogers.  She retired from the Colquitt County Clerk of Court and was of the Baptist faith.  She loved her family and enjoyed quilting, woodworking, reading and knitting. 

In addition to her mother, survivors include her children, Julie Halstead and Bryant of Fredericksburg, VA, Celeste Hortman and Scott of Brandon, FL, Dustan Power of Doerun, GA; grandchildren, Taylor and Anthony Martin, Madison and Lance Williamson, Morgan Hortman and significant other Cameron Frazier, Lillian Hortman and significant Daniel Williamson; great-grandchildren, Charlie Martin, Penny Martin, Lydia Williamson, Liam Hortman, Amelia Frazier; siblings, Dennis Rogers and Linda, Mark Rogers and Donna, Melanie Goss, Suzanne Williams, and other extended family members.
