Larry Alan Cook, 58, of Moultrie, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Cool Springs Baptist Church in Sale City with the Brother Wayne Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, June 6, 2022, from 6:00-8:00PM at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Casketbearers will be Kevin Hall, Louie Adams, Craig Bush, Jeff Wingate, Jarvis Cruce, and Joe Sheffield. The men of Cool Springs Baptist Church will serve as Honorary Casketbearers.
Born September 5, 1963, in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Seabe Larry Cook and Dorothy Enfinger Wells. Mr. Cook was owner and operator of A & J Trucking. His hobbies included cooking, fishing and watching westerns. He enjoyed his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Toby Cook.
Survivors include his wife, Janice McLeod Cook; sons, Todd Griffin and Michele of Leesburg, Jason Griffin of Leesburg; daughter, Lacey Cook of Tallahassee, FL.; grandchildren, Devin Griffin and Becca, Chase Griffin and Chandler, Amber Wright and Bo, Gage Griffin, Kenley Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Lakynn Griffin, Grady Griffin, Penelope Griffin, McCoy Griffin; sister, Marsha Dollar and Dennis of Climax.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
