Anita Faye White Taylor, 91, of Moultrie, transitioned to her heavenly home on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Cobblestone Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ricky McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the chapel from 1:00-1:45.
Blake Taylor, Brandon Taylor, Aaron Taylor, Ben Taylor, Luke Taylor, and Josh Taylor will serve as casketbearers.
Born April 12, 1930, in Ware County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John Francis White and Era Douglas White. She was a talented retired seamstress who served many customers at Schramm’s Cleaners. She also clothed her family with beautiful attire. She was an active member of Moultrie Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Wilbur Odus White, Daniel Clarence White, Freddie Malcom White, and Evelyn Ruth White.
Survivors include her children Freddie Taylor (Ginger) of Hahira, Leon Taylor (Kathy) of Valdosta, David Taylor (Diane) of Valdosta, Carl Taylor (Jennifer) of Lake Park, James Taylor (Kathy) of Valdosta; sixteen grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; siblings, Johnny White of Fernandina Beach, FL, Mary Thornhill (Darryl) of Moultrie; sister-in-law, Sally White of Moultrie.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that memorial contributions be made to Moultrie Church of God, 3113 South Veterans’ Parkway, Moultrie, Georgia, 31788.
