MOULTRIE, GA – Annette Elrod Tillman, 69, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025, in the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Midway Freewill Baptist Church with the Reverend Randy Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Midway Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 AM Wednesday at Midway Freewill Baptist Church.
Casketbearers will be Art Harvin, Brady Mercer, Sean Sauls, Jamie Elrod, Steve Sorrels and Andy Sorrels.
Born October 18, 1955, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Odis Elrod and Alberta Chance Elrod. Mrs. Annette retired from South Ga Bank as a bookkeeper and bank teller and was a member of Midway Freewill Baptist Church. She was a humble, kind, loving woman, who loved the Lord, her family and friends and her beloved fur babies. Mrs. Annette was a people person who was always ready to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed working with flowers and hanging baskets. Mrs. Annette’s memory will live on in everyone she fellow-shipped with, and she will never be forgotten.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Lee Elrod, Sr.; nephew, Lee Elrod.
Survivors include her children, Heather Green and husband Tim, Holly Harrod, Rusty Richmond and wife Summer, Clay Tillman and girlfriend Madison Bodiford; grandchildren, Kensley Goodman and husband Chase, Kaylee Green, Kailyn Green, Austin Harrod, Brooke Holland, Allison Richmond, Cooper Richmond; great-grandchildren, Dallas Goodman, Brant Goodman, Emery Knighton; sisters, Laverne Norman, Larue Calhoun, Myra Norman; special friends, Glenn Tanner, Drake Bennett; beloved fur babies, Max, Gracie and Clay’s Cat, Cortez; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midway Freewill Baptist Church, 287 Lower Meigs Road, Moultrie, GA. 31768.
