Arvin Kirby Tucker

Arvin Kirby Tucker, 78, of Norman Park, passed Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born October 11, 1943, in Doerun, Georgia, he was the son of the late Arvin Franklin Tucker and Lillian Hancock Tucker.    Mr. Tucker retired from Destiny Mobile Homes as a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.   Mr. Tucker loved his family and talking to people.  He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and baking cakes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his great-grandchild, Drew Becton; brother, Joel Wilburn Tucker; sisters, Sally Mae O’Kelly and Nettie Dixie Tucker. 

Survivors include his children, Chad Tucker of Norman Park, Melissa Tucker of Sparks; grandchildren, Sha Tucker, Tru Tucker, Joey McKennon, Shani Fletcher and Kris, Lindsey Moore and Miguel Andrade; great-grandchildren, Kylie Becton, Graysen McKennon, Gunner McKennon, Wyatt Becton, Mateo Andrade, Emilio Andrade; sister, Judy Smithwick of Valdosta.
