Austin Cole Cooper

Austin Cole Cooper, 21, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the home of Jonathan Cooper.

Born June 27, 2000, in Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of Brenda Gail Dean of Moultrie and Jonathan Russell Cooper of Moultrie.   Austin was a member of Moultrie Church of God.   He loved his family, friends, and his canine companion, Sugar.  He enjoyed fishing, playing, hanging out with his friends, and talking on the phone with his girlfriend. Austin loved everyone and thought the world of everyone.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Wanda Sue Cooper; great grandmother, Lilly Pearl Whittington and great granddaddy, George Tucker.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his sisters, Jessie Cooper, Haley Redfearn, Lalah Redfearn-Zeigler, Alexis Bartholomew and boyfriend Kreston King, all of Moultrie; brother, Eric Howard and girlfriend Amber Barnett of Louisiana; paternal grandfather, Russell “Rusty” Cooper of Moultrie; paternal uncle, Justin Cooper and wife Amanda; maternal grandmother, Marylou Whittington; step mother, Carmen Anderson; stepfather, Wayne Hopkins and wife Robin; sister, Laura Stokes and family; brother, Ethan Register and family; cousins, Rebecca Williams and husband Jonathon and child Georgia, Trent Cooper and girlfriend Kirstin; nephews, Kent Howard; maternal aunt, Ashley Kistler and her children Jessie, Nevaeh, Jr., Nevan, Gage and Kannon; and numerous other family members.
