Austin Fender

Austin Gene Fender, 30, of Norman Park, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born November 22, 1993, in Cuthbert, GA, he was the son of Ricky Fender of Ellenton and Jamie Fender of Norman Park.   Austin was a roofer with Georgia Roofing.  He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his son.  Austin liked being outdoors where he would ride his dirt-bikes, motorcycles and go fishing.  He was only with us a short time, but his memory will remain with everyone forever.    

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Rabon; paternal grandfather, Gene Fender. 

Survivors include his father, Ricky Fender and wife Vickie of Ellenton; mother, Jamie Fender of Norman Park; son, Austin Beau Fender; siblings, Justin Fender of Norman Park, Matthew Fender and Holly, Doug Fender all of Moultrie, Shelia Fender of Ellenton, Lauren Fender of Norman Park, Amber Fender of Moultrie; maternal grandfather, Tommy Rabon of Norman Park; paternal grandmother, Shirley Fender of Ellenton; maternal grandfather, Jack Horsley of Gulf Port, MS; special friend, Danielle Lindsey of Norman Park; several other extended family members and friends.
