Avie Coleman Taylor, 84, of Doerun, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at her home.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 14, 2021 in Doerun Cemetery with Dr. David Benton officiating. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.
Born February 6, 1936 in Hartsfield, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Watson Coleman and Avie Holland Coleman. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Doerun. She loved being outdoors and going fishing. She enjoyed cross stitching and loved her family dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rance J. Taylor, Jr.; son, Rance J. Taylor III.
Survivors include her daughter, Kay Taylor Blair and husband Mike of Doerun; grandchildren, David Blair and wife Debbie, Sabrina Blair and fiancé Travis Houman; great-grandchildren, Destin, Alyssa and Mikey; brother, Dickie Coleman and wife Mary Nell of Hartsfield.
