Barbara Ann Thompson Canfield

Barbara Ann Thompson Canfield, 81, of Moultrie, passed away August 6, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

          A private graveside service will be held at Emerald Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Austin Glass officiating. 

          Born January 27, 1940, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John D. Thompson and Annie Lee O’Neal Thompson.  Mrs. Canfield was a homemaker and a member of Emerald Hill Baptist Church. 

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pierre Leon Canfield; daughter, Carol Ann Canfield; grandchild, Cody Canfield; brother, Charles Cecil Thompson.

          Survivors include her children, Carl Wayne Canfield, John Grant Canfield, Burton Lawrence Canfield all of Moultrie, Rusty Gilbert Canfield and wife Jessicah of Fairmont, WV; grandchildren, Julie Canfield, Leon Canfield, Brandi Canfield, Tyra Canfield, Gage Canfield, Gunner Canfield, Brianna Canfield, Caleb Canfield; great-grandchildren, Hunter Canfield, Winston Canfield, Kaden Canfield, Gabby Canfield, Desi Canfield, Lee Canfield, Jr., Grantley Canfield; brothers and sisters, Hubert Daniel Thompson, Bobby Floyd Thompson, Ella Jean Thompson Castleberry, Patricia Estelle Thompson Yearty.
