Benita Michelle Meredeth Jordan, 54, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Lifespring Community Church with the Reverend Julian Griner and the Reverend David Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. Michelle requested that everyone in attendance at her celebration of life service to wear bright happy colors.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Casketbearers will be Ken Robison, James Ellis, DeWayne Bullard, Mike Robison, Brett Hewett, Cole Bullard, Danny Hortman and Kyle Palmer.
Born January 31, 1967 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of Brenda Darlene Hewett Meredeth of Moultrie and the late Jessie Carl Meredeth. Mrs. Jordan was a United States Army Veteran and a very active member of Lifespring Community Church. She was a skilled individual with diverse talents having worked at Riverside Manufacturing Company, Southwest Georgia Banking and the Hampton Inn. Mrs. Jordan was a proud Mama and Mimi and enjoyed going on adventures.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Leroy and Lenora Hewett; paternal grandparents, Lucy and Calvin Meredeth.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her children, Mike Robison and Kayla Johnson both of Moultrie, Kelsey Palmer husband Kyle of Baker, FL, , Cole Bullard of Albany, Austin Bullard of Moultrie; husband, Charles “Eddie” Roberts of Moultrie; grandchildren, Kylah Marie Proctor, Holden James Robison, Maverick Greyson Palmer, Karter Aaliyah Robison, Mia Rayne Robison and Owen Jacob Johnson; brother, Shannon Duane Meredeth and wife Vilma; sisters, Karla Marie Stafford and husband Will, Christina LeAnne Meredeth, Sarah LaShay Walls and husband Brad; she also leaves behind many other friends and loved ones.
