Betty Ruth Clark Baron

MOULTRIE, GA- Betty Ruth Clark Baron, 91, of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Archbold Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 1, 2024, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Doug Greenman and Pete Benford officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM Friday at Cobb Funeral Chapel. 

Casketbearers will be Lawrence Banks, Jerry Ward, Clay Benford, Johnny Mansfield, Lyle Howard, and Daniel Glass.

Born August 19, 1933, in Tift County Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Ardele Clark and Vera Barnes Clark. Mrs. Betty was the co-owner of Green World Produce. She was a sharp minded, hard-working woman, who help build their produce business. She loved her family. She will always be remembered as the rock of the family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Baron; her son, Joey Richter; and her daughter, Julie Richter Hooker.

Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Richter Walters and husband John, Brenda Richter Hill; grandchildren, Ashley Brandon Hill and wife Leah, Corey Clarke Hill and wife Katie, Whitney S. Walters, Jason Wilkes and family, Miranda Bynum and family, Rachel Wilson and family; great-grandchildren, Jackson Hill, Aidan Hill, Tatum Hill, Cason Hill, Kyler Hill, Brice Jordan, Lacie Jordan; sister, Jean Clark Parris; brother, Toby Clark; several extended family members and close friends. 

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangement.
