She was born on May 4, 1932, in Worth, County, Georgia, in the family cabin. Betty was of a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church and could be seen reading and studying her bible nightly. Although she didn’t work outside the home much, her work is reflected in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She loved her family and friends with everything she had. She had many names which include Moma, Grandma, Aunt Betty, and Bop Bop. When she wasn’t loving on her family, Betty could be found sitting at the side of a fishing hole catching bream or watching wrestling on tv. Her legacy will surely live on through the examples she set for her family.
Betty had a wonderful reunion with her husband, C.L. Feagin, son, Don Feagin, her mama, Annie Mae, her daddy, Tom Brady, and sister, Lucille Marlin, and brother, Clifford Brady when she walked through those gates of Heaven.
Those left to fulfill her legacy include one son, Tommy Feagin (Lorain), four daughters, Penny Hembree, Pat Bertram (Patrick), Pam Sizemore (Kevin), and Peggy Oliver (Tim), and one daughter in law, Janice Feagin Shrouder; grandchildren, David Feagin, Brandi Stokes (Caleb), Shana Hester (Ron), Heather Hudspeth (Alan), Austin Dorminey, Peyton Sizemore, and Grayson Oliver.
