Betty Glover Hildebrant

Betty Lorraine Glover Hildebrant, 85, of Moultrie, passed away on July 13, 2022, at Legacy Village at Park Regency in Moultrie.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 18, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Doerun with Dr. David Benton officiating.  Interment will follow at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will include her grandsons, Timothy Green, Dr. John Green, Dr. David Green, Loren Harold “Trey” Hildebrant, III, Andrew Green, Ben Hildebrant, and Carson Hoes.

Born August 12, 1936, in Decatur County, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Carey Glover and Onez Long Glover.  She was a retired Administrative Assistant at Riverside Manufacturing and was a member of Doerun First Baptist Church.  Mrs. Betty was a loving, devoted, and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She loved her family dearly and enjoyed nothing more than being with her loved ones.  She had an uncanny ability of making every grandchild feel like her favorite. Rarely ever was there a special event for her family that she and Brother Loren did not attend.    

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, William Glover, Jasper Glover, Linda Glover Taylor and Wenoah Glover Brock.

Survivors include her husband of almost 65 years, Rev. Loren Harold Hildebrant; children, Lorna Green and husband Frank of Guyton, GA, Rev. Loren Hildebrant, Jr. and wife Sharon of Dacula, and Lisa Hoes of Navarre, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and sister Careen Wheeler of Irwinville, GA.
