MOULTRIE, GA – Billie Keith Davis, 91, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at her residence. 

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in Milford Baptist Church Cemetery in Leary, Georgia with Reverend Jennifer Davis officiating. 

The family will receive friends after the service in Milford Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born July 24, 1933, in Leary, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Willie K. Kidd and Thelma Gunnels Kidd. Mrs. Billie treasured her family immensely. She enjoyed working on puzzles and watching gameshows. Mrs. Billie had a huge heart for children and spent her life caring for them as a Paraprofessional in the Colquitt County School System and later as a Volunteer in the First Baptist Church Moultrie nursery. Her calm and caring manner has comforted many children over the years. Mrs. Billie was of a faithful member of First Baptist Church Moultrie where she sang in the choir and helped out wherever she was needed. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reverend T.J. Davis; son, Tony Davis; daughter, Carita Davis; and sisters, Nan, Betty and Patsy.

Survivors include her daughters, Lagina Davis, Andrea Davis and Angel Davis; grandchildren, Brian Allen and wife Amy, James Davis and wife Jennifer, Michelle Tyler and husband Jack, Samatha Shorey and husband Will; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Murray and husband Ryan, Dylan Allen, Grace Davis, Ben Tyler, Madilyn Davis, Tanner Tyler, Brookelynn Tyler, Fletcher Shorey, and Kenzie Shorey; great-great-grandchild, Paisley Kate “PK” Murray; sister, Margaret Morris; along with other extended family members and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Colquitt Regional Hospice, 415 Rowland Drive, Moultrie, GA 31768. 

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
