"Bobby" Robert Jones

FUNSTON, GA – Robert “Bobby” Jones, 72, of Funston, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held in Cleveland, Ohio at a later date. Born July 17, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Henry Lee Jones and Regina Louise Palowski Jones. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann (Causey) Jones of Funston; children, Jim Jones and Jackie of Medina, OH, Mike Jones of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Andrew Jones, Colin Jones and fiancée Katie Rowe, Emily (Jones) Wayne and Dallas, and numerous extended family members and close friends. Bobby was a proud member of the Operating Engineers, and retired from All Crane Rental as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was a member of Funston Baptist Church. He cherished his wife and family dearly and was a devoted family man who was always willing to help others.
