Bobby Lee Norman

          Bobby Lee Norman, 81, of Moultrie, died Friday, November 27, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

          Graveside services will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Pinecrest Memory Gardens with the Rev. Stephan Massey officiating. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks are recommended.

          Honorary casketbearers will be Ricky Hayes, James Sutton, Joe Sumner, Mike Bennett and Jerry Castleberry.

          Born September 24, 1939 in Norman Park, he was the son of the late Lester Thomas Norman and Nita Brown Norman.  Mr. Norman was a farmer and was a retired heavy equipment operator with the Colquitt County Department of Road and Bridges. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and sharing his stories. He will be remembered for his unforgettable laugh and how he loved to work in his garden.

          He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Norman and his sister, Betty Duren.

          Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dartha Nell Vickers Norman of Moultrie; one daughter, Sharon Norman Veasey of Moultrie; one son, Tracy Norman (Jocelyn) of Valdosta; one brother, Benny Norman (Carolyn) of Norman Park; five grandchildren, David Lee Veasey, Jr., Laura Veasey Harrison (Jim), Tracy Lee Norman, Jr., Madison Chris and Brian Lee Chris, Jr.
