Bonnie Weaver Bowles Parmer

MOULTRIE, GA.- Bonnie Weaver Bowles Parmer, 83, of Moultrie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Per her wishes, she was laid to rest privately in her family plot. 

Born August 10, 1941, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Julian Rideau Bowles, Sr. and Florence Myrtice Weaver Bowles. Mrs. Parmer cared for and impacted on the lives of many patients in her career as a Registered Nurse at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Her compassionate heart was evident in the love she showed to others. Mrs. Parmer’s greatest love was always given to her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed. Mrs. Parmer was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord. 

Survivors include her beloved husband of 63 years, Henry E. Parmer, Sr.; son, Hank Parmer and wife Donna; daughters, Darbie Parmer Gay and Amy Parmer Davis and husband Bob; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Julian Bowles, Jr.; and a number of extended family members and friends. 

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
