MOULTRIE, GA – Bonnie Lou Vickers Glow, 87, of Moultrie, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at her residence. A private family service will be held at Cobb Funeral Chapel on Sunday, July 5, 2020 with nephew Donny Salter officiating. Interment will follow at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. Born February 4, 1933, in Cook County, GA, Mrs. Glow was the daughter of the late M. J. and Idomar Vickers. She retired from the USDA Farm Service Agency and was an active member of Funston Baptist Church. Her family remembers her as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Glow was preceded in death by her husband Donald Glow and sisters Sybil Hodge and Tiny Norton. Survivors include her daughter Nancy Lacey husband Joe Kem of Moultrie and son Gary Glow and wife Cindy of Moultrie. Grandchildren include Ashley Bostick (Shawn), Joe Kem Lacey, Jr. (Bethany), and Cory Glow (Jessica). Great grandchildren are Bennett, Briggs, and Baker Bostick. In addition, Mrs. Glow has three surviving siblings: Jimmy Vickers, Patsy Jones, and Sabrina Graves. Mrs. Glow was blessed with several loving nieces and nephews along with a special lifelong friend Ann Weeks. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to caretakers Brenda, Gloria, and Gwen. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, charity, or organization of preference.
