Brantley Devon O’Neal, 79, of Albany, formerly of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Morris Harp and the Reverend Johnny Nixon officiating. Interment will follow in Pebble City Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Casketbearers will be Keith O'Neal, Graylon Brunson, Stephen Graham, Broccan Casey, Johnny Farr, Brian Henderson and Don Teel. Honorary casketbearers will be the Deacons of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.
Born February 11, 1942, in Doerun, Georgia, he was the son of the late George Cleve O’Neal and Lillie Hortman O’Neal. Mr. Brantley retired from Albany Technical College as a Graphic Art Instructor and was a member and deacon of the Amazing Grace Baptist Church. He loved his family, church family and enjoyed singing, playing his guitar that he taught himself how to play. Mr. Brantley liked being outdoors working in his garden and his yard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, and his late wife, Dianne Snipes O’Neal.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Elaine Newbern O’Neal of Albany; children, Keith O’Neal and Rick, Latrelle Brunson and Graylon, Brandi Graham and Stephen, Kynzleigh Mitchell; grandchildren, Kacey Nation, Kalynn Littleton, Sydnie Garner, Brayleigh Tompkins, Broccan Casey; great-grandchild, Jack Nation; stepdaughters, Vickie Morse and Lynn, Lisa Hogan, Alice Mitchell.
