Carl Smith

MOULTRIE, GA – Carl Smith, 76, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Trey Eakins officiating. Interment will be in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:45 PM Saturday at Cobb Funeral Chapel. 

Casketbearers will be Jim Fletcher, Shane Robinson, Alex Hinson, Luke Kilgo, Quinten Tucker, and Jamie Law. 

Born December 31, 1947, in Tifton, Georgia, he was the son of the late Thomas Smith and Nola Long Smith. Mr. Carl retired from Parker Machine Shop as a parts manager and was of the Methodist faith. He was an intelligent businessman, caring family man, who enjoyed his family and his dogs. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching old western movies and Murder She Wrote. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters. 

Survivors include his children, Jeana Miles and husband Greg, Mandi Tucker and significant other Jamie Law, Angie Saldanha and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Abbi Hinson and husband Alex, Lizzi Tucker, Quinten Tucker, Yesenia Palacio, Mallory Williams, Lukas Saldanha; siblings, John Smith and wife Elieen, Joe Smith, Henry Smith and significate other Karen; several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends. 

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
