'It will be what it will be,' echoed Carlo Cooper throughout his journey in life. He lived by these words with unwavering determination, facing each day with resilience and optimism.  Even in the face of adversity, such as his battle with cancer, Carlo remained steadfast and unwavering. Leaving behind a legacy of fortitude and perseverance, Carlo departed this life in his home on May 18th, 2024, at the age of 50. He was surrounded by his beloved wife, Leslie, and their faithful dogs.

Carlo was a proud patriot and son of the soil, a farmer through and through. His favorite pastime was caring for his property and whatever inhabitants there dwelled. Even though he worked a few different trades throughout his life, it was atop a tractor or casting his line into the water where he found solace in the simplicity of farm life and the tranquility of fishing. His hands were skilled at repairing machinery and building, yet he remained modest about his capabilities. One only has to look around his beloved land to see the fruits of his vision and labors.

A large number of friends who Carlo cherished as family are left behind. He wore his heart on his sleeve, so if you were lucky enough to know him, then you were lucky enough.

Though he may have left this world, his spirit of resilience and his enduring legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him. There will be a celebration of life on June 1st at dusk on Carlo’s property. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to the Archbold Cancer Center in Thomasville, Georgia.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with all arrangements.  To send flowers to the family in memory of Carlo Eugene Cooper, please visit our flower store.
