Cecil Paul Butler

Cecil Paul Butler, 62, of Moultrie, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, September 3, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Mr. Mike Newsome officiating.

Born November 14, 1958, in Vero Beach, Florida, he was the son of the late John Dauris Butler and Doris Corbin Butler.  He was a welder in Greencove Springs, Florida.  Mr. Butler loved to fish, ride motorcycles, craft, cook, and spend time with his precious family.  He enjoyed going to powwows to celebrate the Native American heritage.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles Butler, Junior Butler, Peggy Wells, James Rhett Butler, and Baby Butler.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Teresa Lynn Self Butler; children, Jonathan Paul Butler and wife Stephanie of Orange Park, Florida, Dustin Lee Butler and wife Iliana of Moultrie; grandchildren, Nicolas Butler, Melanie Gonzalez, Tyler Butler, Peyton Butler, Levi Butler; siblings, Jackie Barden of Moultrie, Brenda Sharpe and husband Cliff of Ochlocknee, Georgia.
