Charles A Barnwell

Charles Albert Barnwell, 82, of Moultrie, died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Born February 14, 1938 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Elmer D. Barnwell and Pauline Mock Barnwell. Mr. Barnwell was a self-employed general contractor and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Mr. Barnwell enjoyed going to the mountains, Shell Point, FL, grilling out and watching Nascar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Irvin Barnwell, Melvin Barnwell, Jerrell Barnwell and Kenneth Barnwell. Survivors include his children, Cindy Barnwell Eunice and husband John of Moultrie, Kim Barnwell of Fernandina Beach, FL, JoBeth Burt and husband Bill of Moultrie; grandchildren, Amber Eunice Day and husband David, Ashton Eunice Wilson and husband Josh, Will Burt and wife Ashley, Jaimee Burt, Laurie Jo Burt; five great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Barnwell Saunders and husband Charles of Conyers, GA.
