It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charlotte Lois Morgan, departed from this world on August 13, 2024, in Moultrie, Georgia. She was born on February 4, 1965, in Atlanta, Georgia, to her loving parents Sarah Lois Haywood and the late Carl William Laney.
Charlotte’s vibrant spirit and unwavering faith touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a beacon of light, never hesitating to lend a helping hand and ready with a warm smile. Charlotte's passion for life was contagious, and she approached each day with a positive outlook and a kind heart.
In her leisure time, Charlotte explored various interests that brought her immense joy. She was known for her love of meeting new people, her deep-rooted Christian beliefs, and her outgoing personality. Charlotte found solace in the pages of books, cherished moments spent fishing, and treasured the bond she shared with her grandchildren.
Family was the cornerstone of Charlotte's life, and she found her greatest joy in the company of her loved ones. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Carl Allen Morgan Sr., who stood by her side through thick and thin. Charlotte's legacy continues through her children: Pamela Tomberlin (John), Mitchell Adams, Nichole Hollcom (David), Carl Allen Morgan Jr. (Erica), Kristen McGee (Michael), her sister Patricia Prince (Timothy), and her brother Scott Long. Additionally, Charlotte leaves behind eleven cherished grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness into her life.
The memories and love that Charlotte shared with her family and friends will forever hold a special place in their hearts. To honor and celebrate her life, a visitation will be held on August 15, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cobb Funeral Chapel in Moultrie, Georgia. A Funeral Service will follow on August 16, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Charlotte Lois Morgan will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of kindness, faith, and love will continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal light of her unwavering spirit.
