MOULTRIE, GA – Craig Bailey Bruce, 29, of Moultrie, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Emory University Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Temple Baptist Church with Brother Shane Smith officiating. Interment will be in Big Ochlocknee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM on Tuesday at Temple Baptist Church.
Born April 28, 1995, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of Craig Bruce and Lynn Lowry Bruce. Bailey was a kind-hearted, humble son, husband, and father, who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed going camping, fishing, riding dirt roads, and listening to classic rock music. Bailey will always be remembered as a man who had a huge heart, polite and respectful towards other, and view life as an adventure. He will forever be in the hearts of every person who knew him. "There was nothing Bailey enjoyed more than being around children and being a dad himself."
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret and Dewey Bruce; great-grandparents, Annie Grace and Horace Williams, Maxine Johnston, Ruby and Harley Bruce.
In addition to his parents, Lynn and Craig Bruce, survivors include his wife, Katherine C. Bruce; children, Lilith Wren Bruce, Jameson Hawk Bruce; brother, Bryce Bruce; grandparents, Mary and Raymond Bland; wife’s grandparents, Anne and Ernest Jordan, Frank Garren; aunts and uncles, Angie and Lamar Whitaker, Alisa and Dewayne Bruce, Brandon Bruce, Shanna Bennett; cousins, Gracie and Daniel Munoz, Eli Whitaker, Noah Whitaker, Lora and Brett Bullard, Parker Bruce, Libby and John Baker, Lane Bruce, Hunter and Shawn Debruce, Marleigh Debruce, Raleigh Debruce; sister-in-law, Chelsea Nevels and Justin Lindsey; special friend, John Moore and Kyndle Macy; several other extended family members and friends.
