David Benjamin “J.B.” Tillman, 52, of Norman Park, died Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 10:00AM Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Hancock officiating. Interment will be in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.
Casketbearers will be Thomas Brannen, David Sinclair, Quavius Davis, Sr., Samuel Santiago and Keith Vickers.
Born January 9, 1968 in Thomasville, GA, he was the son of the late William L. Tillman, Sr. and Evelyn Adams Tillman Casteen. Mr. Tillman was a truck driver with L&D Trucking and Broadleaf Trucking. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, enjoyed fishing and loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Sangster; brother, William L. Tillman, Jr.
Survivors include his children, Kim Prosser and David Sinclair of Norman Park, Jamie Prosser and wife Kassandra, Brooke Tillman and Samuel Santiago all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Haley Williams, Alex Tillman, Caden Merritt, Johnny Williams, Casey Williams, Joseph Prosser and Jazmine Crisostomo; sister, Debra Pate of Moultrie; brothers, Timothy M. Tillman and wife Rhonda of Norman Park, Terry W. Tillman of Douglas; mother-in-law, Jean Castleberry; special friends, Tammy Harris, Matthew Cox, Mike Kirkland, Gene Harrison, David Sinclair, Sr., David Sinclair, Todd Lindsey and Jamie Collins; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
