MORROW, GA. Diane Judith Hamilton, 63, of Morrow, GA, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, at her residence.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Pastor Scott Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Emerald Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM on Sunday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Casketbearers will be Jonathon Summerlin, Dillon Chatman, Jason Chatman, CJ Murphy, Stephen Massey, and Glenn Kilgore.
Born February 16, 1960, in Teaneck, NJ, she was the daughter of Sidney Sherzer and Lucille Murphy Kilgore. Mrs. Hamilton was a homemaker who dearly loved her family, especially her husband Warren and her dog Candy. She enjoyed spending time with her family and truly tried to make holidays a special time for all. Mrs. Hamilton liked to do crossword puzzles, needlepoint, and crocheting. Her favorite hobby was collecting all things “Hello Kitty”. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Lonnie Kilgore; grandparents, Leroy and Effie Murphy; and aunt, Geraldine Kilgore.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her beloved husband, Warren Paul Hamilton; children, Kristy Hornsby and husband Howard, Teshia Collier and husband Dewayne; grandchildren, Dalton, Logan, Hunter, Onna, Matthew, Alexa, and Kallie; great-grandchildren, Jameson, Scarlett and Maverick; siblings, Maryann Pyburn, Sandi Beadles and husband Will, Teresa Kilgore Barber, and Glenn Kilgore and wife Regina; nieces, Heidi Pyburn, Caitlin Beadles; nephew, Christian Beadles; great nieces, Aliyah and Kiari; Uncle, Clayton Murphy and wife Javonna; along with a number of cousins, extended family members and friends.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
