MOULTRIE, GA. – Dixza Vasquez De Turner, 70, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, July 31, 2022, at El Aposento Alto Church (The Upper Room). Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 PM Saturday, July 30, 2022, at El Aposento Alto Church.
Born September 4, 1951, in Panama City, Panama, she was the daughter of the late Emilio Vasquez and Elicia Ceballos Vasquez. Mrs. Turner was the lead minister at El Aposento Alto Church. She selflessly cared for others as a faithful servant to her Lord. She was a humble, loving and caring lady who adored her family and friends. Mrs. Turner witnessed to numerous people as a missionary and will forever be remembered for the positive impact she had on many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold William “Bill” Turner; siblings, Emilio Vasquez, Reynaldo Vasquez, Rosalia Carrillo Vasquez.
Survivors include her children, Elicia Alvarado and husband Jose, Terry Turner; grandchildren, Richard Joshua Bauman, Sarah Elizabeth Martinez and husband Carlos, Jacob Christopher Bauman, Isabella Ann Turner, Lewis Frank Turner; great-grandchildren, Andrew Carlos Martinez, Nathaniel Eli Martinez; siblings, Elicia Vasquez, Marco Vasquez, Noris Quintero, Fidel Vasquez.
