MOULTRIE, GA – Donnice Langley Almand, 86, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Senior Care. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Mr. Curtis Allegood officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 PM on Wednesday at Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Born November 25, 1937, in Tift County, she was the daughter of the late Malvin Langley and Gertrude Hayes Langley.  Mrs. Donnice was the co-owner-operator of Almand’s Grocery and Storage.   She was a great cook and talented seamstress who was famous among her family for her Christmas Stockings.  Mrs. Donnice lived her life with a heart full of love which she shared with others.  She dearly loved her family and church family.  Mrs. Donnice was a faithful member at Oak Grove Baptist Church.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Theron “Boe” Almand; daughter, Kimberly Nunez, and 5 siblings.

Survivors include her children, Bill Zeigler and wife Margie of Moultrie, David G. Almand of Moultrie, Kathy Almand of St. Augustine, FL; grandchildren, Melissa Rountree and husband Richard, Michael Keller, Justyn Keller and wife Jennifer, Chris Zeigler and wife Monica, Shannon Nunez, Dylan Zeigler and wife Lalah, Kyle Zeigler and wife Lacey, Mandy Zeigler, Amy Johnson and husband A.J., Lily Lawhorne and husband Micah, Joshua Zeigler, Bobbie Miller; great-grandchildren, Oakley Keller, Janna Keller, Jordyn Keller, R.J. Roundtree, Marc Roundtree, Jaidyn Zeigler, Emmy Lou Zeigler, Atticus Zeigler, Evan Zeigler, Chloe Zeigler, Trudie Johnson, Edith Johnson, Justice Zeigler, Finnley Zeigler, Emily Zeigler; sisters, Judy Langley Ivey, Barbara Langley McCord and husband Sam; along with numerous other extended family members and friends.
