Donnie Lewis Lamb

Donnie Lewis Lamb, 95, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Tony Morris officiating.   Interment will follow in Zion Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Don Gay, Clint Gay, Jereme Perkins, Kody Perkins, Rik Holifield, Logan Hammond Lamb.

Born July 24, 1926, in Toombs County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Henry Thomas Lamb and Seffie Hackle Lamb.  Mr. Lamb was a United States Army Veteran, retired farmer and a member of Zion Grove Assembly of God.  He loved his family, enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, working in the yard and going to the mountains.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Ruth Little Lamb; daughter, Betty Ann Welch; six brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his children, Patsy Lamb Selph of Moultrie, GA, Dianne Lamb Truluck and husband Larry of Loganville, GA, Margie Lamb Prater, Mary Donise Kiley and husband Patrick all of Moultrie; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Dolphine Hiers of Sandersville, GA; beloved cat, George; and other family members.
