Dwala Parker Coleman

MOULTRIE, GA- Dwala Parker Coleman, 80, of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Pruitt Health-Moultrie.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 7, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Lennon Howell officiating.   Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.  

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.   

Born October 6, 1942, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter the late Horace A. Parker and Ida Vernon Cato Parker.   Mrs. Dwala worked at Moultrie National Bank as a teller, retired from Citi Finance and was a member of Pineview Baptist Church.  She loved her family, cooking and taking care of them.   Mrs. Dwala enjoyed crocheting, sewing, collecting stamps, playing the piano and watching westerns.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Joe Coleman; son, Mark Dion Coleman; daughter-in-law, Chris Noel Johnson Coleman.

Survivors include her son, Donald Wayne Coleman and Denise of Moultrie; grandchildren, Jerry John Coleman and wife Kaylon, Samantha Brooke Coleman and T.J. Heflin, Carmen Farrow; great-grandchildren, Dewayne Adkison, Annabell Grace Coleman, Zoey Summer Coleman, Sabrina Jackson, Waylon Marc Coleman; siblings, Glenn Parker and wife Lou Beth, Roy Parker, Shelia Parker, Gail P. Giles, Tony Parker and wife Kathy, Jerry Parker and wife Penny, Cheryl Parker, Rex Parker and wife Rhenda; beloved fur-baby, Jack; numerous other extended family members and friends.
