Eloise Kemp Whittington

WINTERVILLE, GA.- Frances Eloise Kemp Whittington, 88, of Jackson, GA, and formerly of Worth County, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 7, 2024, while surrounded by family.

 A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 12, 2024, at Providence Church Cemetery in Doles, GA.

 The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.

 Born September 7, 1935, in Worth County, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Kemp and Lola Barfield Kemp.  Mrs. Whittington was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who adored her family.  Family gatherings were a vital part of her life and she attended every one she could.   Mrs. Whittington enjoyed reading and participating in activities before her health prevented her from enjoying her hobbies.  She loved her Lord and was quick to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with anyone she met.   Mrs. Whittington was a member of the Baptist faith.  She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.  

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Isaiah Whittington, and several family members.

 Survivors include her children, Diane Tiller and husband Russell, Donna Hader and husband Bob; grandchildren, Daniel Nix and wife Victoria and David Nix and wife Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Hayley, James, Emma and Calloway; along with several extended family members and friends.

 Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
