Elverie J. Goehner Berg

MOULTRIE, GA – Elverie J. Goehner Berg, 96, of Moultrie, passed away on June 5, 2022, at Magnolia Manor. No formal services are planned at this time. Born January 5, 1926, in Leavenworth, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late George August and Mary Elizabeth Oberdick Goehner. Mrs. Berg was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling and attending Blue Grass Festivals. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family whom she loved. Mrs. Berg was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Berg of Moultrie; son, W. Reyno Zunz and wife Sherri of Tampa, FL; daughter, Karen Adams of Whigam, GA; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Goehner; and a number of extended family members and friends.
