Eugene Moxley

Eugene Moxley, 87, of Moultrie, died Friday, March 13, 2020 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Casketbearers will be Bobby Beck, Jim Moxley, Luke Moxley, Corey Gay, James Moxley, and Mark King. Born May 11, 1932 in Waycross, he was the son of the late Lonnie Moxley and Ada Cooper Glass. Mr. Moxley served as Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. The family remembers what a great cook he was and how he loved his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Bill King, Eugene Moxley, Jr., Greg King; sister, Sadie Moxley Dexter; brothers, Larry Moxley and Don Moxley. Survivors include his wife Janieve Brown Moxley; daughters, Vicki King of Washington, IL, Kimberly Willis and Greg of Doerun, Ginger Yarbrough and Danny of Moultrie, Sandy Lamp and Chuck of Washington, IL, Judy Mannarelli and Bruno of IL, Gloria Meyers & David of Pekin, IL; sons, James Moxley, Jeff Moxley and Connie, Jim Moxley and Brenda all of Moultrie, and Mark King and Sharon of Aurora IL; twenty-six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
