Fern Crawford

Laura Fern Crawford, 83, of Foley, Alabama, formerly of Moultrie, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Dion Brown officiating.  Interment will be held in Westview Cemetery.  

Born January 24, 1938, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William Spencer Odom and Alavan Weeks Odom.   Mrs. Crawford was a Moultrie High School Class of 1956 graduate and a member of the First Baptist Church in Foley, Alabama.  She served as Associational WMU and GA Director in Colquitt County for many years and worked with the Georgia Baptist Disaster Team.   In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, papercrafts and traveling in the RV with her beloved late husband, H.T.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Crawford, Sr.; siblings, Elkin Odom, Jeff Odom and W.S. Odom; and son-in-law, Terry Milam.

Survivors include her children, Lenora Milam, Henry T. Crawford, Jr. and Linda, Belinda Schell and Rob, Judy DeNeve and Stacy; grandchildren, Jonathan Castleberry and fiancée Erin Roper, Samantha Crawford, Laura McDade and Jeremy, Celeste Morant and Zachary, Cory Schell, Trent Schell, Alaina Parker and Josh; great-grandchildren, Sophia Crawford, Kailin Parker, Breelyn Parker, Everleigh Parker, Kaden Morant, Carter Morant, Matthew McDade; five step-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; three step great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Keva Thompson, Ben Odom and Shirley; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Odom, Jean Crawford, Jeanette Crawford; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
