Frances Virginia Roberts Snipes

MOULTRIE, GA – Frances Virginia Roberts Snipes, 89, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, at PruittHealth-Sunrise. 

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ricky Mclaughlin officiating. The family will greet friends after the service in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. 

Born February 6, 1935, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Roberts and Susie Barwick Roberts.   Mrs. Frances was a wonderful, caring, mother and grandmother who loved the Lord and her family dearly.   She enjoyed fishing, collecting dolls, going to bingo, and baking pound cakes.    Mrs. Frances was a member of Moultrie Church of God. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Ethan Snipes; five brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include her children, Janet Hooper, Leroy W. Snipes, Jr. and wife Judy, Kimberly Holmes and husband Mark all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Mikie Dunn, Jacob Hooper and wife Brooke, Joy Gay and husband Keith, Mark Holmes II and wife Heather; great-grandchildren, Kamery Dunn, Michael Dunn, Lylah McMullen, Morgan McMullen; sister, Jean Morse; other extended family members and friends.
