MOULTRIE, GA – Frederick Martin Clemens, 81, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, at his home. 

 The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Heritage Church with the Reverend Brad Bowen officiating. The family will greet friends after the service at Heritage Church.  

Born June 23, 1943, in Elmira, New York, he was the son of the late Harry Martin Clemens and Bertha Housman Clemens. Mr. Fred worked for Elmira Lithographics as a Press Operator before retiring and moving to Moultrie. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who loved the Lord, and his family dearly. Mr. Fred was a godly man who spiritually mentored countless men and boys showing them how to live as a godly man while serving Christ. He was a faithful member of Heritage Church where many members considered him to be a spiritual father figure in the faith. He was revered by many as “father”. 

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Donald “Dusty” Clemens; and several siblings. 

 Survivors include his beloved wife of 63 years, Ethel Marie Pearce Clemens; children, Sharon Amezcua, Penny Clemens Evans, Michael Clemens and wife Sharon, Angel Clemens Ordway and husband Michael; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother, Harry Clemens; many extended family members, friends and innumerable sons and daughters in the faith. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Samaritan Counseling, David Brown Promise Keepers Breathe Ministry at Heritage Church.

 Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
