Gary Benjamin Argo

MOULTRIE, GA- Gary Benjamin Argo, 59, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 2, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Olen Cain officiating.   Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Mitchell County, GA.

The family will receive friends from 1-1:45PM Monday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Eddie Arnold, Anthony White, Paul Bynum, Scott Adams, Scott Stinson, and Donnie Bentley.  Honorary casketbearers will be Waylon Gay, Amy Williams, Ricky Smith, Mark Brown, David Gibbs, John Vickers, Hal Pullen, Darrell Truett, Ed Barron and the current and former EMS employees and 1^st responders.

Born December 28, 1962, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Floyd Winston Argo, Sr. and Annie Retha “Jones” Argo.  Mr. Argo was a former paramedic for many years at Colquitt Regional Medical Center and a member of Hinsonton Baptist Church.   He was dedicated to serving the community and was loved by his employers and co-workers.   Mr. Argo was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, who provided for his family and loved each one of them dearly especially the grandchildren.   He will forever be remembered as the man who always had a Mountain Dew and Cheese crackers.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa “Bebe” Bryant Argo of Moultrie, GA; children, Spencer Argo and wife Heather of Defuniak Springs, FL, Daniel Lawton Argo of Moultrie, GA; grandchildren, Tessa Argo, Olivia Grace Argo; brother, Floyd Argo, Jr. and wife Barbara of Ellijay, GA; numerous extended family members and friends.
