Gayle Chafin Sears

     Gayle Chafin Sears, 81, of Moultrie, died Friday, March 20, 2020 at her home.
     Services will be private.
     Born January 13, 1939 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late M.A. Chafin and Julia Mae Willis Chafin. Mrs. Sears was a retired teacher and principal. She attended Norman Park United Methodist Church.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Sears, Jr. and her son, William Robert Jenkins.
     Surviving are her daughter, Julia Lucinda Yates and husband Eric of Moultrie; a grandson, Damon Yates and wife Jennifer; two great-grandchildren, Savanna Mae Yates and Noah Van Yates.
     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Colquitt Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 3548, Moultrie, GA 31776.
