Gloria Patricia McCranie

MEIGS, GA – Gloria Patricia “Patsy” McCracken McCranie, 82, of Meigs passed away Friday, November 22, 2024, at Archbold Living in Camilla. 

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at New Bethel Baptist Church with Reverend Ed Green officiating.

Born May 12, 1942, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late John Heyward McCracken and Gladys Bannister McCracken. Mrs. Patsy loved her family and watching soap operas on television. She met the love of her life, William H. McCranie on a blind date and they became 2 halves of a whole for over 55 years of marriage. They loved to travel whenever they could and visited many sights over the years. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Hilton McCranie; a grandson, Michael Green; and great-grandson, Kobe Stevens.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Stevens, Tammy Brown and husband Paul, Renae Ricks and husband Dewayne; grandchildren, Ashley Estrada, Amber Stevens, Aren Stevens, Cassidy McKinnie, Keria Ellis, Summer Brackin, and Cooper Green; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Taylor and husband Joe, Connie Graves and husband Steve, Dale Storrusten and husband Don; brothers, Calvin McCracken and wife Beatrice, Terry McCracken and wife Teresa, and Johnnie McCracken and wife Ellen; along with a number of extended family members and friends.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
