Kim Singletary Land

 Kim Singletary Land, 62, of Moultrie, died Saturday, January 18, 2020 at her daughter’s residence in Grovetown GA.

          Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Toon officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

          The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

          Casketbearers will be Brian Clark, Hunter Clark, Bo Yarbrough, Zack Singletary, Michael Davis, Shawn Mayfield and Cory Dufresne.

          Born January 16, 1958 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Quenton Singletary and Ludie Olindal “Peggy” Morris Singletary.   Mrs. Land was a supervisor at Colquitt County DFACS office with 20 years of service.  She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a long-time Sunday School teacher for the preschool and kindergarten classes.   

          Survivors include her children, Codie Land and Ayla of Malone FL, Callie Downs and Blake of Grovetown GA, Hunter Clark of Moultrie; grandchildren, Eli Downs and Evy Land; sisters, Sharon Gurr and Lee of Tallahassee FL, Vicky Strickland and Glenn of Moultrie; brothers, Roger Singletary and Anne of Washington GA, Ricky Singletary and Karen of Conyers GA; step brothers and sisters, Ben Goodson and Pam of Athens GA, Ursula Yamada and Yoshiro of Newnan GA, Erika Emery of Athens GA, Robert Keele of Memphis TN; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

          Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 507 West 3^rd St. Ste 4, Albany GA. 31707 and or Colquitt County DFACS Office, 449 North Main Street Suite A, Moultrie, GA.  31768.
