Hazel Ruth Landrum Cash

Hazel Ruth Landrum Cash, 78, of Omega, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Pastor Billy Wilkes officiating.  Interment will be in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.   

Casketbearers will be Roy Dalrymple, Bradley Carroll, William Carroll, Tony Weaver, Clint Brown and Tony Taylor.

Born September 19, 1943, in Union City, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin Landrum and Linner Bell Gaddy Landrum.  Mrs. Hazel loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  She enjoyed watching butterflies, listening to windchimes, and doing crossword puzzles and sewing.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Landrum, Frances Landrum, Helen Walker, Joyce Nelms, and Elaine Weaver.

Survivors include her children, Dorothy Carroll and husband Shannon, Elaine Cash, Thomas “Tom” Cash all of Omega; grandchildren, William Carroll, Brad Carroll and wife Samantha; great-grandchildren, Joe Carroll, Hunter Carroll, and Tyler Carroll; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
