Hubert Darrell Burnham

MOULTRIE, GA.- Hubert Darrell Burnham, 76, of Moultrie, passed away January 10, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 14, 2022, at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Julian Griner officiating. 

Born May 30, 1945, in Colquitt County Georgia, he was the son of the late William Lewis Burnham and Hazel Aline Thompson Burnham.  Mr. Burnham retired from Triple S Communication as a contractor and was of the Baptist faith.   He enjoyed being outdoors, taking his boys hog hunting, deer hunting and bird hunt.  Mr. Burnham was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He loved his family dearly, made sure they were well provided for and enjoyed having family gatherings.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Glenda Alvis and Kathy Burnham.

Survivors include his wife, Novella Faye Barton Burnham of Moultrie; children, Donna Draughon and husband Terry, Jerry Burnham and wife Sandy, Sherri Holweger and husband Olan, Jr. all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Danny Lewis Dangar and wife Brandy, Brandon Garrett, Austin Garrett, Jerry Darrell Burnham, Jr., Aaron Burnham, Bethany Holweger, Katelynn Holweger, Olan “Bubba” Holweger; great-grandchildren, Katey Burnham, Levi Dangar, Grace Roe; step-great granddaughter, Mia Weber; sisters, Aline Gregory of Moultrie, Mary Flowe and husband Ken of Albany, Janice Bachelor of Norman Park.
