Jack Buck Lamb

Jack Buck Lamb, 74, of Hartsfield, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 7, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Julian Griner officiating and honorary speaker Charles Odom.  Interment will be in Zion Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 AM Monday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Michael Wolfe, Landon Bass, Devin Leverett Lamb, Logan Hammond Lamb, Tyson Lamb and Jamie Pettyjohn.  Honorary casketbearers will be Tommy Lamb, Curtis Lamb and Rex Lamb.

Born March 17, 1947, in Hartsfield, Georgia, he was the son of the late Hulen L. Lamb and Irene Wright Lamb.   Mr. Lamb retired from Davis Petroleum as a manager.    He loved his daughter and grandchild dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.   He enjoyed woodworking and being around horses.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Bobby Lamb, Larry Lamb, Frances Zimmerman and Jane Palmer.

Survivors include his daughter, Courtney “Corey” Lamb and husband George Robert Fielder III of Hartsfield; grandchild, Legacy Jo Lamb of Hartsfield; siblings, Curtis Lamb, Grady Lamb, Brady Lamb, Retha Odom, Tommy Lamb, and Rex Lamb; several nieces and nephews; special friends, James Johnson and Ronnie Bennett; special pets, Roxie and Pretty Boy.
