Jackie Gail Barden

Moultrie, GA.- Jackie Gail Barden, 76, of Moultrie, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Golden Apple Assisted Living.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Pastor Caleb Davis officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM on Saturday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.  

Born February 22, 1948, in Fellsmere, FL, she was the daughter of the late John D. Butler and Doris Jean Corbin Butler.   Mrs. Barden was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who adored her family.  She enjoyed going on camping trips where she could fish to her heart’s content.  Mrs. Barden was a fantastic cook who will be long remembered for her delicious dishes.   Mrs. Barden was a member of the Baptist faith.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Wells; brothers, Rhett Butler, Charles Butler, Junior Butler and Cecil Butler.

Survivors include her children, Michael Dillon and wife Tonya, Wade Dillon and wife Misty, Billy Dillon, and Tommy Strickland and wife Shanna; grandchildren, Miranda Brown and husband Clint, Dalton Dillon and wife Ashley, Matthew Dillon, Brittany Gibbs and husband Zack, Blake Tucker and wife Whitney, Jayden Strickland, Justyn Strickland, Tyler Croy and wife Leslie, Colby Payne, Kalina Casteel and husband Hayden, Christian Payne, and Brooklyn Dillon; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Brenda Sharpe and husband Cliff; along with several extended family members and friends. 

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
