James Wright Clark

MOULTRIE, GA – James Wright Clark, 88, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday December 18, 2023 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ricky Griner officiating.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at 2354 Old Doerun Rd. Moultrie, Ga 31768, the home of Mr. Clark.

James was born July 4, 1935 in Moultrie the son of the late Zelma Massey and John Clark. He was a member of China Grove Baptist Church.  He spent a few years in the Army but retired with 20 years service in the Navy.  He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening and hunting in his younger years.  He loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife Judy Menneke Clark; son, Craig Clark; sisters, Elizabeth Durham and Marium Whisnant.

He is survived by his second wife Nelta Ashmore Clark of Moultrie; Renee Bozeman and husband Bucky of Moultrie and Rhonda Clark Head of Starkville, MS; grandchildren Tori Bozeman (Deonta Griffin), Jamie Bozeman (Sabrina), Joey Bozeman (Tara), Zach Head (Asiah), Trevor Head and Jared Head; great grandchildren Jonah Head, Conner Head, Madalyn Bozeman, Jackson Bozeman, Maggie Bozeman, Josie Bozeman, Simon Bozeman, Dillon Griffin and Devin Griffin; brother J.D. Clark (Judy) of Moultrie.
