James Culley Pearson, Jr.

MOULTRIE, GA – James "Jim" Culley Pearson, Jr., 92, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born August 9, 1931, in Tallulah, Louisiana, he was the son of the late James Culley Pearson, Sr. and Ruth Vance Pearson.  Mr. Jim retired from Prudential/Geico as an insurance manager and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Moultrie.   He was a United States Air Force veteran.   Mr. Jim enjoyed reading, watching sports and in his younger years, he participated in football and golf.  He was an avid supporter of his alumni, the Maryland Terrapins.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Paul Pearson and Randal Pearson.

Survivors includes his beloved wife, Willette Lupo Pearson of Moultrie; children, James Pearson III and wife Sue of Washington, IN, Richard Pearson of Indianapolis, IN, Ronald Pearson of Indianapolis, Pamela Howze and husband Donald of Sebring, FL; grandchildren, Erin Parekh, Culley Pearson; step-granddaughter, Kim Magdaleno; great-granddaughter, Leena Parekh.
