James Malcolm McHargue, Jr.

James (Jamie) Malcolm McHargue, Jr. passed away unexpectedly at the age of 56 on January 18, 2022, peacefully at this home.  Jamie was a lifelong resident of Tallahassee, Florida since his birth in Moultrie, Georgia on February 14, 1965, to Marcia Taylor McHargue and James Malcolm McHargue, Sr. 

     Jamie graduated from Lincoln High School in 1983, then earned his B.S. Degree in International Affairs from Florida State University.  Up until his passing, he was a dedicated employee for the Social Security Administration for sixteen years.  He was of the Presbyterian faith.

     He is preceded in death by his father, James Malcolm McHargue, Sr.  He is survived by his mother, Marcia Taylor McHargue; sister, Marcia (Marci) McHargue Kirkland; niece, Marcia (Maci) Taylor Kirkland; and nephew, Mason Gage Kirkland, all of Tallahassee, Florida.

     Due to the pandemic, a family graveside service will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 2:00p.m. at Westview Cemetery in Moultrie, Georgia.
