Janice May Burnham Bachelor

NORMAN PARK, GA – Janice May Burnham Bachelor, 74, of Norman Park, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Brother Bobby Wiard officiating.   Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, June 30, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be JT Harbin, Avery Thompson, Brandon Pope, Travis Gregory, Shannon Hancock and Roger Hancock.

Born September 22, 1948, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William Lewis “Cap” Burnham and Hazel Aline Thompson Burnham.  Mrs. Janice retired from Sunstates Sports Wear as a seamstress and was a member of Solid Rock Church.  She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.  Mrs. Janice enjoyed watching gameshows, doing puzzles, going thrift shopping, and fishing.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Mack Bachelor, Sr.; son, Kevin Passmore; siblings, Hubert Darrell Burnham, Glenda Alvis, Kathy Burnham.

Survivors include her daughter, Pam Harbin and husband Tim of Norman Park; grandchildren, Jaime Pope and husband Brandon, Mary Grace Thompson and husband Avery, JT Harbin, Kayleigh Harbin and Stormy Harbin; great-grandson (in-love), Jason Sumner; sisters, Aline Burnham and Mary Flowe and husband Ken; sister-in-law, Faye Burnham.
