ASHEBORO, NC. Janie Sue Reynolds Lott, of Asheboro, and formerly of Moultrie, Ga., died Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Alpine Health and Rehabilitation in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel in Moultrie, Ga with the Reverend Trey Eakins officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Born July 28, 1933, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Robert Toomes Reynolds and Margaret Susan Castleberry Reynolds. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Sunrise Nursing Home for many years. Mrs. Lott was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, J.W. Lott; brothers, Hubert Reynolds and Tremaine Reynolds; sisters, Mary Courtney, Latrelle Ferriero and Edna Edwards. Survivors include her special caregivers, nephew Donnie Edwards and wife Janice of Asheboro, NC; along with several other nieces, nephews and extended family members.
